Managed IT & remote support

Everyday IT that just works.

Remote support, device management and routine administration from a team that also understands security — so fixing a problem never creates a new risk.

An operations owner and an engineer review a tablet in a light manufacturing workshop.

The business problem

IT problems interrupt work. Unmanaged IT creates risk.

In many small organizations, IT support is a mix of a part-time contractor, a capable employee and good intentions. Laptops are set up by hand, updates are applied when someone remembers and nobody has a complete list of devices.

That approach works until it does not: a lost laptop without encryption, a former employee who still has access or a critical update that was never installed.

What Simba Cyber does

Predictable support built on secure foundations.

We provide remote technical support and manage your devices, accounts and applications through modern Microsoft tools. Every routine task — from onboarding a new hire to retiring an old laptop — follows a documented, secure process.

  • Remote help desk within agreed support hours
  • Device enrollment and management through Intune
  • Documented joiner, mover and leaver processes
  • Asset visibility and routine operational reporting

Common use cases

How this works in practice

Representative scenarios that show how the service responds. They are illustrations, not client case studies.

Scenario

Shipping a ready-to-work laptop

A new hire receives a laptop straight from the supplier. Autopilot and Intune configure it with the right apps, settings and security policies the first time they sign in.

Scenario

A same-day leaver

An employee leaves unexpectedly. We disable access, transfer mailbox and file ownership, and wipe company data from their devices following a documented checklist.

Scenario

Bringing updates under control

Devices run a mix of outdated versions. We introduce update rings and compliance reporting so you can see which devices are current.

Scope and licensing considerations

Support hours, channels and response targets are defined in your agreement. Managed IT support is not a 24/7 help desk unless your agreement says so.

Services are delivered remotely. Discuss any on-site requirements during scoping.

Some Intune capabilities, such as Remote Help and Endpoint Privilege Management, depend on your Microsoft plan and may require add-on licensing.

Hardware procurement and third-party application licensing are outside the standard scope unless agreed.

Questions

Managed IT & Remote Support: common questions

What are your support hours?

Support hours are agreed during scoping and written into your agreement. Our 24/7 coverage applies to security monitoring, not to the IT help desk.

Do you provide on-site support?

Our services are delivered remotely. If your organization needs occasional on-site work, raise it during scoping so we can agree what is practical.

Can you work with our existing line-of-business software?

Yes. We troubleshoot and coordinate with your software vendors. Deep application administration may require vendor support.

Can we keep our current IT person?

Yes. Many clients use us to support an internal IT person with security, device management and overflow work.
